My working life started in 1976 as an apprentice engineer. In 2000 I made the switch to maintenance and gardening employed by Suffolk County Council.

By the year 2005 my position had been privatised, prompting me into working as self-employed.

Along with my son Josh we set up in business with the help of InBiz.

Throughout the year I have invested in tools, equipment and machinery.

My first year has gone extremely well and now I have gardening contracts and a good customer base.

For my customers' piece of mind, I have Public Liability insurance and have had a police check done.
